Working Principles of Hydraulic Winches
Working principle of hydraulic winch is as followings: firstly, for raising process, when break holds winding drum tightly, planetary cannot revolution. And it rotate under the drive of center wheel, by which it makes inner gear driving drum to lift loads. When hydraulic winch system raising loads, the instantaneous process that hoisting loads speed up from idle state to stable speed is call dynamic process. Inertial force direction and lifting loads direction are the same during lifting movement, and in this way which increase the tension of wire rope.
During dynamic process, brake braking drum, both drum and inner gear cannot move, planetary make revolution and self- rotation at the same time, all the hydraulic winch parts works together to drive drilling tools. The process that winch machine parts from constant motion slow down speed to static called lifting brake process. Because that inertia force produced by slow down speed movement has opposite direction with lifting loads so that tension of wire rope is reduced.
Decline launch process. When expansion brake and band type brake are loose, drum is in a free state. It is the self –weight of drilling tools that drives drum to lower drilling tool. The process that loads decline from idle to stable state is called decline launch process.
Decline brake process. Winch machine drives suspended loads declining in a constant speed, and it makes loads decline from constant speed to idle speed, the process is called decline brake process. At this moment, inertial force and lifting loads have the same direction which makes winch rope tension increasing.
